Beauty is not good looks
It is good thoughts

Beauty is not a spotless face
It is a blameless heart

Beauty is not make-up
But the make-up of the heart

Beauty is not what you do
It is why you do them

Beauty is not fluency
Beauty is transparency

Beauty is not appearance
Beauty is character
The character of the heart

Only the Porter really knows
Just how beautiful the clay is

Man looks outwards
But God looks inwards

So true beauty is not what man sees
But what God sees…the state of the heart.
